I actually LOVE the fall. And it is finally cold and cloudy here today! That might not sound like a big deal, but for Seattle- it is. 80 days without rain. That is unheard of for us, and frankly, I hate it.
I love the fall. The cold weather, the rain, the hot apple cider. Normally if its sunny and somewhat warm in Seattle, you HAVE to go outside. Its actually a law. January? Doesn’t matter, if its sunny, we’re heading outside.
So, with 80 days of it, I’m getting kind of sick of playing outside. Parks, bikes, beaches- its all too much for me! Enough already! I live in Seattle, not LA!
So, when the clouds and the rain came this morning, I jumped for joy. Time for indoor crafty fun! Time to make banana bread and apple cider!
Here is what we made today…
I saw it on Pinterest, but I won’t put the link because it went to some strange adult site.
Post Note… OK, after some research, I found the original site. You can find it here. She is much more of a perfectionist than myself, and does it really well. Check it out!
I just cut out the haunted house picture in both black and white paper (stacked on top of each other), then I gave them the white paper to make scary pictures on, and cut little doors and windows over their drawings. A little glue stick action, and voila. Custom Haunted Houses!
